What is Lunchtime Live?

Stitch of the Week: Crochet Lemon Peel Stitch

This week’s stitch of the week is the crochet lemon peel stitch. It’s a quick and easy texture alternating between single and double crochets.

For even stitch counts, the pattern is

Every Row: Ch 1, sc in first st, dc in next st, [sc in next st, dc in next st] across.

For odd stitch counts, the pattern is

Row 1: Ch 1, sc in first st, [dc in next st, sc in next st] across.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), [sc in next st, dc in next st] across.

I love the simple texture of this stitch, and it’s reversible too!
