Mosaic Sampler Blanket Pattern
This tutorial video shows the second section of the Mosaic Sampler Blanket. The blanket is divided into 6 sections, each with a different stitch pattern. It also includes instructions for 3 different sizes.
This second stitch pattern has a short stitch repeat but more variety in the rows. We’ll switch one of the colors from the previous section, and talk about options for keeping each section even in length. The video follows along with the written pattern, and you will need to refer to the pattern for specific stitch counts for the various sizes.
Reading Mosaic Knitting Charts
If you haven’t already, you may want to take a look at this quick tutorial on reading mosaic knitting charts. The pattern does include full written instructions, but knowing how to follow along with the charts as well can be very helpful.
Swiss Cross – Section 2 Video Tutorial
Before jumping into the pattern stitch, let’s look at a couple of different ways to keep our 6 sections even. Then we’ll change from color A to color C, and start on the Swiss cross design.
