Simply Sweet Baby Sweater

This tutorial video shows the fourth section of the Simply Sweet Baby Sweater. In this section, we will knit the hem and bind off, and then attach the button. The video follows along with the written pattern, and you will need to refer to the pattern for specific stitch counts for the various sizes. You can find the Simply Sweet Baby Sweater pattern here.

This sweater is being released in 5 sections as part of the  Simply Sweet Raglan Baby Sweater KAL. This is the 4th section. As I release each new section, I will add it to the pattern post. So that post will always have the most up to date and most complete version of the pattern. Check the KAL post to see when each section will be released and to find the tutorial links for the previous sections.

Needles and Yarn

For this knit along project, I am using Knit Picks Brava worsted weight yarn, and Knit Picks Prism Options interchangeable needles.

Section 4 Video Tutorial

We have finished the body of the sweater, so now it’s time to change colors, switch to smaller needles, and knit the hem ribbing. Then we’ll bind off using a stretchy, tubular bind off. We’ll also look at an easy way to mark the button placement so we can sew on the button.
