What is Lunchtime Live?

For 2022, the demo portion will be a featured stitch of the week. I’ll show you a different stitch pattern each week, alternating between knit and crochet stitches.

Stitch of the Week: Knit Seeded Rib Stitch

This week’s stitch of the week is the knit seeded rib stitch. Columns of seed stitch expand the ribbing and add texture.

Over a multiple of 4 + 3 stitches, the pattern is:

Row 1: K3, (p1, k3) across.

Row 2: K1, (p1, k3) across to last 2 sts, p1, k1.

This is a completely reversible stitch pattern. We’ll look at how to adjust it for different stitch counts, and for working in the round instead of in rows.
