After a year full of washcloths in the Knitted Kitchen KAL, I gave away most of them but did keep a couple. I’ll be honest though, I don’t actually use them in the kitchen. I replaced my bath pouf with a knitted washcloth and liked the feel so much better I’ll never go back! This, of course, makes me want to knit more fun things for my bathroom. That’s where Bath Knits by Mary Beth Temple comes in.
Beyond Washcloths
Of course a book of bathroom patterns will contain some beautiful washcloths, but Bath Knits goes well beyond that. There’s a fabulous, textured, plush bath mat that I really want to squish my toes into, and the chenille set that includes a bathrobe, headband, and slipper socks looks super cozy too.
Dress It Up
All of the items in the book are decorative as well as useful. The tray and basket liners, and towel trims would be a great finishing touch for that perfect guest bathroom. I particularly like that the book is divided up into themed sections, so it’s easy to pull together coordinated sets of items.
To keep, or not to keep?
A basket full of coordinating items from Bath Knits would be a fabulous wedding or holiday gift. You’re going to find it hard to part with them though, so be sure to make a set for yourself too! You can purchase this book on Amazon in either a paperback or Kindle version.

What a lovely book. You don’t see as many knit bath items as crochet so this is much appreciated. Thank you for the chance to win.
