A package from Red Heart!

Look at the free goodies the postman brought me the other day, from the lovely people at Red Heart!

There’s a skein of Boutique Twilight in the “Romantic” colorway, and a coordinating skein of Boutique Infinity in the “Enchanted” colorway. Hmm…an enchanted romance indeed! They’re both generous skeins in gorgeous shades of purple, and both with a subtle sparkle. They’re surprisingly soft and silky to work with too. I can’t wait to make something with them. I have a couple ideas in mind but we’ll have to see how they turn out!

Also in the box was a Susan Bates digital row counter (also in purple, of course). It wraps around your finger and you click a button to count the rows.

It looks like this is one of a few new Susan Bates products for 2015 (so new, I couldn’t find a link to share with you). Another new product that looks interesting is their Yarn Essentials Kit. It’s a collection of all the little things you always need (and keep losing), and it all comes in a handy dandy little pouch. It has a cable needle, stitch holder, yarn needles, stitch markers, knit counter, Handi Tool and Knit Chek. Sounds like it would make a great travel kit. As soon as I can find links where you can buy these, I will add them here. (UPDATE: these items are now available on Red Heart’s site, and I have updated the links!)

Finally, there was a Red Heart tote bag. I like the new design. It’s wider and not as tall, and it has handy pockets on the front:

Overall, quite an exciting box of goodies to get in the mail. I love getting packages, especially awesome packages full of yarnie goodness – thanks Red Heart!
