Materials
I finally picked out my yarn for the “Whoo Wants Tea?” Tea Cozy. There were so many options it was hard to decide. I ended up using a selection of leftover yarns from my stash.
The slightly speckled, darker brown for the back and edging should also work well for the eyes. Did you choose natural colors like me? or did you go with bright and colorful instead?
October Pattern Tips
This pattern is written for a 6-8 cup teapot, which is slightly larger than what we’ve been working with so far. The easiest way to shrink the size a bit is to use a smaller yarn at a tighter gauge. The pattern calls for chunky yarn, so I went with worsted weight.
There are lots of separate parts to this pattern, with a considerable amount of sewing together. Weave in ends as you go, and save any longer trimmings to use for the tufts!
