May CAL Pattern

Our pattern for May is the Spring Garden Tea Cozy by Jenny Stacey, the same designer as our April cozy. This pattern is also available on Ravelry.

It’s mostly knit, with a few crochet embellishments. The crochet parts use UK crochet terms, so those of us in the US will need to convert it as we go.

Just like our last pattern, this one is also designed in DK weight yarn. If you use worsted weight yarn, it may come out bigger so be sure to check your gauge!

What a cute cozy! How sad that I’ve only participated in the January KAL. I’ve missed so many good patterns. 🙂

Maybe by the Fall I’ll have more time to join in again. As it is, I sometimes go 5 or 6 days without finding the quiet time to sit and knit even one stitch.

Lol. It’s not by choice, let me tell ya. I didn’t realize how much I depend on it as a way to relax and unwind. Someday soon, I’ll be back to a more acceptable amount of knitting. 🙂
