This was quite a project, and I love how it turned out! The main body is the Chamomile Lawn Tea Cosy by Jennifer Adams. The head is from the Crochet Entrelac Turkey Tea cozy by Sara Duggan. The tail feathers are my own design. Scroll down for the tail feathers pattern.

Final November Thoughts

Check out my week 3 post for the modification I made to the head.

I originally made different, larger tail feathers, but they were too heavy. The whole cozy twisted and fell backwards! So I started over and came up with this smaller tail feather design.

To add a little weight to the front, I made a tiny pillow stuffed firmly with yarn ends. Sewing this inside the front of the cozy helped to balance out the weight.
