Last Minute Gift Ideas

I know, I know….I haven’t posted a thing since Thanksgiving! I’m sorry I’ve been so quiet. I’m still here, just a bit swamped right now with a couple of projects that I can’t tell you about yet. Isn’t that the way it always goes at this time of year? Anyway, I just wanted to peek in and say I haven’t forgotten about you all, and I promise I have lots of fun stuff in the works and should have a new pattern out to you soon.

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a last minute gift for someone on your list, or a great hostess gift for that holiday party, here are a few of my older patterns that might work for you:

  1. Ribbed Fingerless Mitts – These are my go-to quick gift because they’re stretchy so sizing is very forgiving, and they take hardly any time at all to make! You can make them with or without the fuzzy edging. Check out the child sizes too!Ribbed Fingerless Mitts   Ribbed Fingerless MItts
  2. Poinsettia Bottle Cozy – I loved making this and it turned out really pretty. With the colorwork, it can be a little more advanced of a pattern, but it’s fun if you’re looking for a bit of a challenge! It works well for bubble bath and lotion bottles too.Poinsettia bottle cozy
  3. Mesh Tube Scarf – This is probably the easiest crochet pattern I’ve written. It’s heavy and uses quite a bit of yarn, but is one of those great “mindless” projects you can make in front of the tv, and it turns out super soft and squishy. I made this for my father-in-law last year and he loved it!Mesh Tube Scarf
  4. Accidental Beanie – with 6 sizes, you can make one for everyone! It’s fun and fast to make, and it works well in multiple colors so it can be a great stashbuster too.

Happy Hooking!

(p.s. I REALLY wanted to title this post “I’m not dead yet!” but I was afraid some people might not get the reference)
