In This Weeks Episode – Knit Loop Edging

The Polyantha Rose Garden shawl pattern features a striking, knit loop edging. Recently, someone making this shawl asked if I could do a video demonstration of the edging. The whole edging is worked sideways and attached to the live stitches of the shawl row by row – in a sense you are working an edging and binding off the shawl at the same time.

For the sake of time in this demo, I’ll be making slightly smaller loops, on a tiny swatch. I’ll show you how to work one of the basic loops, then the corner loop with short rows, and then another basic loop for the other side.
