What is Lunchtime Live?

Stitch of the Week: Knit Broken Rib Stitch

This week’s stitch of the week is the knit broken rib stitch. It’s a basic 1/1 ribbing, “broken” by garter stitch to create a unique texture. The pattern for this worked over an even number of stitches is:

Row 1 (WS): K across

Row 2: [K1, p1] across to last st, k1

We’ll look at what to do with an even number of stitches, and some possible variations.
