Jazzberry Baby Blanket Crochet Along - Week 4

Week 4 marks the halfway point in the Jazzberry Baby Blanket Crochet Along. Follow along as we make this colorful, textured blanket. There’s still plenty of time to join in! If you’re new to the Intermeshing crochet technique, this is a wonderful project to learn on.

Here are a few tips for this week.

Working Ahead:

The blanket is a repeat of 4 sections. Section 1 was a little different because of the set up row, so we will be repeating sections 2-5. This means Section 6 is actually the same as section 2, just in a different color.

I have still written each section out separately in the pattern, and will release 2 sections a week until we are done. If you want to work ahead though, you should be able to do that now. You can find the list of colors for each section in the Week 1 post.

Counting Rows:

Counting rows is proving to be challenging for a lot of people. To make it easier, try marking the last row of each section (or the first row of each section, just be consistent). Also remember to pick one color and count only that one color. I usually like to count with the inside color, like this:
