My Progress
This challenge is just the push I needed to finish my Never Ending Nightmare Stashbuster Blanket (NNSB). I’ve passed the halfway point between the beginning of the challenge and how much I have left to finish, so I am right on track.
It’s a Tunisian crochet pattern that I don’t really enjoy all that much. Without the challenge, it would have been back on the stash shelf again by now.
I planned to crochet 2 stripes a day. That’s 4 very long rows, which is not easy, but manageable. At this pace, I will have time to add all the fringe, fix any issues, or add extra rows if needed.
The Best Part
Finishing my blanket is great, but is not the best part of the Finish It Challenge. Working more closely with my wonderful co-host, Claire from Mollie & Claire has been amazing. I’ve also had lots of fun meeting new people and seeing all your projects.
The Finish It Ravelry group now has 41 members, and they’ve shared some lovely projects of all different kinds. There are actually 3 finished entries already!
Join in the Fun
Are you finishing along with us? Have you reached your halfway point yet or do you have some catching up to do?
This challenge extends through July, so there’s still time to join in. See the Finish It Challenge 2014 main post for all the details. Remember to use the hashtag #FinishItChallenge2014 when you share your updates!

And this is exactly what I think. Except I still have just under halfway to go on the blanket of guilt!

You’ll get through it Claire, I have faith! just break it down into how much you have to do each day, that’s easier to deal with. 🙂
