My Week 8 Progress

Here is my last square for the Jake’s Blankie CAL on Jessie at Home! I got creative with color changes to use up my last bits of light blue and white.

This time I blocked it with blocking wires instead of pins. I wish I had done them all this way! It was faster and easier, without the dimples that pins sometimes create.

I haven’t done any more joining since last week, because I ran out of yarn and didn’t get to the store yet, but I’ll catch up for next week.

The edging in the pattern is very thick, and I’m not sure I want to do that much of a border. Instead, I may do just one or two rounds and finish my blanket early.
