What is Stitch Makers Live?

Stitch Makers Live is a 3-day virtual event during which you can spend time with over 10 crochet designers and teachers, on Facebook. That’s 15 Facebook live crochet sessions with industry experts (see the full list below). The classes will run from September 19th to September 21st, but that’s not all!

Connect with other attendees in the exclusive Facebook group. There’s even a virtual party in the evening, after the last day is over. Each class comes with a bonus crochet pattern to help you master the skills you have learned. Plus, you’ll get full access to the recordings in the group for one full year!

Switchgrass Skirt Pattern

My pattern for Stitch Makers Live is called Switchgrass. It’s an elegant pencil skirt with an elastic waistband and a slit at the hem. One stitch pattern, worked in 2 different ways, creates contrasting textures in the skirt and hem. Adding the elastic is the main topic of my class, but I’ll also be showing you this stitch pattern and other tips and tricks for making the skirt.
