Free Pattern – Reversible Cables Headband
Get 2 looks from one headband! Wear it one way for 2 cables with a decorative edge. Turn it round the other way and you have 3 cables. Which side is your favorite? All About Gauge
I know a lot of knitters and crocheters cringe at the words "gauge" and "swatching". But working up a gauge swatch before starting a project can be important, and it doesn't have to be difficult! Knitting Abbreviations
Knitting patterns have their own vocabulary of stitches and abbreviations. The good news is, many of them are combinations of a few basic ones. Most patterns will include a list of the abbreviations that are used in that pattern, but some don't. If you ever get stuck, here is a list of commonly used knitting abbreviations. I may add to this list as I think of (or use) others.
