I love getting boxes from Red Heart, there’s always something fun and unexpected in them. Want to see inside this one?
It’s a package highlighting their new Baby Hugs yarn! I’ve seen some lovely patterns with this yarn, and am excited to try it out for myself. The yarn is much softer and fluffier than I expected, and the literature says it is tested for harmful substances, and certified baby safe.
In the box is 2 skeins of yarn, a 3″ natural beeswax maple wooden teething ring, and a pattern to make a cute lovey teether. All of this goodness was packaged inside a large round metal tray. 3 guesses what I’ll be storing in that?
One of the skeins is medium (worsted) weight, in the color “Aloe.” The other is light (DK) weight, in “Peachy.” Both skeins are quite generous in size, with 247 yds for the medium weight, and 318 yds of the light. I already have a couple of ideas in mind for this wonderful package, and I promise to start working on them soon….just as soon as I stop petting and squishing the yarn (it’s seriously soft!).
