Spa Basket Crochet Along
Welcome to the Spa Basket Crochet Along! This event will run from 8/30/16 through 12/7/16, and features 12 patterns from 12 amazing designers. The patterns will combine to make a lovely spa basket, perfect for gifting.
All the patterns will be made in worsted weight, cotton yarn. We also have some wonderful prizes – scroll down for information on how to enter the giveaway. Our prize sponsors all sell a variety of items that would make great additions to your basket, so be sure to check them out!

The Secret Stitch
Our next prize is a pair of must-have books: The Secret Stitch is the first novel in a new historical fiction series by C. Jane Reid. Also included is The Secret Stitch, a Crochet Companion by Laurinda Reddig, which contains patterns for many of the accessories mentioned in the novel. Include one or both of these books in your basket as well – nothing says relaxation like curling up with a good book!

Dove Chocolates
Our friend and Dove chocolatier, Lisa Jelle, is providing a Sea Salted Caramel collection from Dove Chocolate Discoveries. These are special chocolates, not the same as what you might find in your grocery store. Lisa has many beautiful gift packages available on her store – and who doesn’t want chocolate in their basket?

This will be my first CAL so I’m not sure how this works. Is a supply list available now? I joined the Ravelry group will I need to go there each week for the new pattern?

Yay! Welcome to your first CAL! No, there is no materials list, because a lot of the patterns (including mine) haven’t even been written yet. They will all be using worsted weight cotton yarn though. New patterns will be announced on the facebook group, and on the ravelry group, but you can also come here and check the schedule links on this post – I will be updating them each week as the new patterns are released. 🙂
