My September KAL Progress

I’m only about a third of the way through the Broken Rib Tea Cozy by Pamela Hendersen, but I’m loving the pattern!  I’ve never done a broken rib before and it’s much easier than it looks.

Pattern Modifications

After a few rows, I realized my cozy was too wide. I started over and cast on 37 instead of 49. I also decided to work both halves at the same time.

Once I get far enough in, I can switch to working in the round. I could have started out that way too, but didn’t want to start over again.

To turn my cozy into an apple, I will need to add a leaf. I still haven’t decided which leaf to use. Here are my favorites:
