My May KAL Progress
This month’s cozy is the Spring Garden Tea Cozy by Jenny Stacey. I’ve finished all the knitting and crochet. All that’s left to do now is assemble it and embroider the flower stems and leaves.
Pattern Modifications
I tried to use only stash yarns, but ran short of blue, DK weight yarn. Instead, I used two different shades of sport weight yarn, held together.
I still ran short and had to buy a skein to finish. All the rest is stash yarn leftover from my April cozies.
Group Progress
This group works fast! Several people have finished their cozies already. There are a few posted on the Ravelry group and the Pinterest page so far. Check them out!

Ok, it looks great… but fill me in, what is a cozy?

a cozy (in general) is just something that covers something else. In the case of tea, the cozy covers the teapot and helps keep the tea warm longer. If you go to the pinterest page, you can see some of our finished cozies so you can see how it looks when it’s done. Here’s the link: https://www.pinterest.com/piathadani/tea-cozy-tuesday/
