February CAL Pattern
Our pattern for February is the Rose Bud Tea Cozy by Debi Dearest. I love all the delicate little rosebuds – perfect for valentines day 🙂 Here’s the same pattern on Ravelry.
This one looks like it’s going to work up very quickly, and in fact CrochetSarah from the Ravelry group has already finished her February cozy! She said it was so much fun that once she started she couldn’t stop, lol!
Materials
Yarn: The pattern calls for DK weight yarn, but I was able to match the gauge with some worsted weight yarns, using a slightly smaller hook. Either one will work as long as you match the gauge.
Hook: The hook recommended for this pattern is a size 7 (4.5 mm), which is one size I do not have. I did a gauge swatch using a size 6 instead, and luckily that worked out perfectly for me. The recommended gauge is 7sc = 2″, so I did 14 sc x 14 rows and got a 4″ square.
