• Tutorial – Fair Isle Locked Down

Fair Isle is a colorwork technique in knitting, in which you work with multiple colors at once. This usually leaves "floats" or loose strands of yarn at the back of the work. In this tutorial, learn how to lock those floats down with every stitch to create a smoother finish at the back.

    Bandkerchief Knit Headband and Kerchief

By request, this is the knit version of my popular, crochet Bandkerchief pattern. Just like the original, this knit headband and kerchief combination looks like a kerchief, but goes on like a headband! Unlike the crochet version, this one is made in worsted-weight yarn.

Free Pattern – Knit Me Baby, One More Line – Harmony Blanket Square #24

Knit Me Baby, One More Line is pattern #24 in the 2018 Harmony Blanket Knit Along. Normally, color changes in garter stitch need to be worked on the right side of the fabric in order to get a clean line. With this square, a simple shift in the garter stitch pattern allows the stripes to be worked neatly out from the center, in alternating directions.
