  • Team Colors knit scarf pattern on Stitches n Scraps

    Free Pattern – Team Colors

Bundle up on game day with the soft, squishy warmth of the Team Colors scarf. Mitered squares give this scarf its bold, geometric design, and textured diagonal lines. Show your support for your favorite team, wear your school colors with pride, or make one in your favorite color combination!

  • Edison Park - A free knitting pattern on Stitches n Scraps

Asymmetrical Knit Scarf – Edison Park

By request, Edison Park is the knit version of my Norwood Park pattern, and features the same, asymmetrical, V shape. The lightweight fabric and eyelet edges are equally at home running errands in jeans or dressing up for a party. Wrap it for warmth, or for more dramatic flair, wear it draped over your shoulders with the long, tapered ends hanging down at the back.  You can even hang a small charm from the picot at the center! The free pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

  • Alphabet Letter Charts - 4 x 12 - Stitches n Scraps

    Letter Charts (entire Alphabet! – 12 x 14)

When I published the Boo Blocks pattern for Halloween, many of you said you would like to use the same design for other words and holidays as well.  Now you can, with these colorwork letter charts for the entire alphabet, and a couple of extra symbols too!

  • Groove is in the chart - A free knitting pattern on Stitches n Scraps

Free Pattern – Groove is in the Chart – Harmony Blanket Square #45

Groove is in the Chart is pattern #45 in the 2018 Harmony Blanket Knit Along. The ridges and valleys in this square look like textured stripes from the top, but when viewed at an angle, a hidden image appears! This remarkably easy technique is called illusion knitting or shadow knitting and uses just the basic knit and purl stitches.  The pattern includes both written and charted versions of the instructions.

  • November Skies - a free knitting pattern on Stitches n Scraps

    Free Pattern – November Skies

November will be here soon, and there's already a brisk chill in the dusky, evening skies. It's time for a cozy new hat! The November Skies hat is soft and warm, and makes a great gift too. It works up quickly and is super stretchy to fit almost everyone. Wear it as a slouchy hat, or turn the brim up for a more snug fit.

  • Bandkerchief, a free knitting pattern on Stitches n Scraps

    Bandkerchief Knit Headband and Kerchief

By request, this is the knit version of my popular, crochet Bandkerchief pattern. Just like the original, this knit headband and kerchief combination looks like a kerchief, but goes on like a headband! Unlike the crochet version, this one is made in worsted-weight yarn.
