Mosaic Sampler Blanket Pattern
This tutorial video shows the first section of the Mosaic Sampler Blanket. The blanket is divided into 6 sections, each with a different stitch pattern. It also includes instructions for 3 different sizes.
This first stitch pattern is the easiest, so we can focus on casting on and learning how to read the mosaic instructions and chart. The video follows along with the written pattern, and you will need to refer to the pattern for specific stitch counts for the various sizes.
Reading Mosaic Knitting Charts
Before we jump into section 1, if you haven’t already, you may want to take a look at this quick tutorial on reading mosaic knitting charts. The pattern does include full written instructions, but knowing how to follow along with the charts as well can be very helpful.
Mosaic Stairsteps – Section 1 Video Tutorial
Let’s get started with a cable cast on, then we’ll walk through the first pattern stitch. The number of stitches to cast on will depend on the size of the blanket you would like to make.
