My Mandala for Marinke
If you’re not familiar with the #MandalasforMarinke and #MandalasforWink projects, you can read more about them here. For my mandala, I chose her Crochet Mandala For Your Home pattern. Her main pattern picture, which is done in grey, yellow, and white, looks so sunny and bright that I had to pick that one. Here’s my version.
I used some yarns from my stash, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The pattern has a lot of little details and was fun to make…even if it was a little sad at the same time. I will be sending it off soon for the #MandalasforMarinke project, and I hope it ends up brightening someone’s day. Are you making a mandala? I’d love to see yours too – please comment with a link!

Oh, what a Beauty!……….. I will miss her so very much…so tragic…I haven’t had the time or I would have made one too…I did light a candle for her tho…a 100 yr. candle….So many of us suffer with this terrible depression struggle….she will always be in my heart..

*hugs* It really has hit a lot of people and really the community as a whole pretty hard. I just wish she could have known how much her life really meant and how many lives she touched.
