Crocheting along – Moogly Afghan CAL – Block 3

Here’s my third block for the Moogly Afghan CAL:

Block 3 is the Windmill Afghan Square by Lorene Eppolite, on Cre8tion Crochet. I think this might be my favorite square. Then again, I think every square is going to be my favorite square when we get to it!  I love the bold design, and the construction is simpler than the last two squares. I still need to block this one, but I just couldn’t wait to show it to you. Again, for easy joining,  I did the same sc last round with 38 stitches on each side and a ch 2 sp in each corner,

Front post x stitches are actually a favorite of mine. At our last charity “lock-in” at my LYS, I was playing around with a lattice square using the same type of x stitches for a totally different look. I had put that idea aside, but now I may have to pick it up and play with it some more!
