The March pattern was the Fairy Cake Tea Cozy by Frankie Brown.  It’s a cute pattern, and written very well.

Final March Tea Cozy Thoughts

I wasn’t totally happy with my cozy, but I think that was due to my own mistakes. I feel there isn’t enough red “cake” showing, and it’s too short – the bottom of my pot shows a bit from underneath the “wrapper”:

This is probably because I tried to be clever and knit it in the round. After separating for the spout and handle, I joined back up again too soon on the spout side. The icing ended up overlapping the cake by quite a bit. If I had joined it later, it would have sat lower on the pot with more red showing.

I saved a bit of time at the end by gluing the buttons on top instead of sewing them.
