Materials

This month we are making the  Beehive Tea Cozy by Pattons.

supplies for July tea cozy

From my stash, I have a skein of Red Heart Super Saver in Gold. It’s the perfect shade of yellow for a beehive! I also picked up these cute Favorite Findings “Bee Happy” buttons to finish it off.

July Pattern Tips

The pattern doesn’t specifically need embellishments, but they make it so much more fun! You can even make your own.

The pattern includes an optional bee applique made with yarn wrapped around cardboard. I want my cozy to be easily washable, so I chose buttons instead. A needle-felted or crocheted bee would be another great option!
