I’ve been neglecting my sock knitting horribly, but with a little bit here and a little bit there, I finally have a new pair of socks! They are made with Fingerpaints, by Cherry Tree Hill, in the Cider House colorway, which I had received in a Yarnbox package last May.  This yarn is amazing! It’s 100% superwash merino that’s tightly twisted, giving it a springy, almost elastic feel, which makes for a nicely stretchy sock. It’s smooth on the needles and can be ripped out without fraying, pilling, or splitting. Then of course, there’s the colors! I love the constrasting stripes of color against the red background.
