I loved this Family Square by Stacey Williams of Busting Stitches. The best part for me was the rotation in the middle. I loved watching the corners of the square move to the sides and vice versa – I thought that was very unique. The edging was fun and unique too. It’s actually worked back and forth in short little rows of twisting post stitches, with the first and last stitch of each row connecting to the edge of the square.
The next square looks nice too, and looks like it will work up quite quickly. I have only one problem…I’ve run out of yarn in most of these colors! There are 24 squares overall, so I may just end up doing 4 squares each in 6 different (hopefully complimentary) color combinations. This could turn out really pretty (or could be really awful), we’ll just have to wait and see!
