Free Pattern – New Eastside
With its urban style and a casual fit, the comfy, New Eastside cardigan may become your go-to jacket for spring and fall! The simple construction is almost seamless, with limited shaping, patch pockets, and an optional zipper. The self-striping yarn, combined with the construction of the sweater, creates a unique combination of stripes and color blocking, with a soft and fluffy texture.

This easy design is decorated with pretty ruffles around the collar, hem, and sleeves. With a lightweight yarn and frilly cap sleeves, this sweater is perfect for sunny summer weather, or can be worn over a long sleeve shirt for cooler weather. Free Pattern – Maraschino
Vanna’s Glamour yarn from Lion Brand gives this lacy dress a fun bit of sparkle, perfect for holiday parties. It features a figure-flattering empire waist, and subtle shaping to hug your curves in all the right places. The skirt flares out slightly, just enough for a little bit of a twirly bounce. I wore this to the CGOA Conference this past summer, and the picture is from just before the fashion show. This post contains affiliate links (click for more info). Free Pattern – Breezy Baby Tank
This simple tank top is a breeze to make, and light and airy to wear too – perfect for hot summer weather! Buttoned straps make it easy to put on, and can be made longer or shorter if needed, for just the right fit. It’s designed in a linen blend, but could be made in a cotton or bamboo too. In this sample, I used Plymouth Yarns Linen Concerto in Aqua for the main color. For the edging I used a different linen yarn which is now discontinued. Linen Concerto also comes in a Grape colorway, which would be a great option for the edging. This pattern is protected by copyright. Please…

Free Pattern – Daydreamer Cardigan
This is the final piece of a 4 piece set, designed to match my Puffy Pinwheel Hat, Striped Booties and Dreaming of Pinwheels blanket. The Anne Geddes Baby yarn by Red Heart quickly became a favorite of mine through these projects, and I hope I have a chance to work with it again soon. It’s soft and squishy, but strong too, and comes in beautiful, bright colors! This pattern has instructions for sizes 0-6 months, 6-12 months, and 12-24 months. The images show the 6-12 month size. Free Pattern – For Emily
This unique poncho is worked in one piece, from the top down. It has a folded down shirt collar, and a folded up bottom hem, both with a border of little hearts. I have to give a great big thank you to my friend Annie, who convinced me to try the folded up hem! The “one size fits most” design makes this a great pattern for gifting. All the women shown here are wearing the exact same piece. It’s hard not to want to keep it for yourself though! This pattern is protected by copyright.
